The Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) is the leading electronic music conference and the world's biggest club festival for electronic music. The event offers a unique blend of daytime conferences, including interactive workshops, technical demonstrations and in-depth round-table discussions, alongside a nighttime music festival with over 700 artists performing in 44 venues around the city.
The annual event attracts 2,500 business professionals and 112,000 festival visitors from all around the globe.

A measure of the enduring and growing popularity of the ADE is that despite extra capacity having been added for the daytime events, with the Dylan Hotel acting as an annexes for conferences and business meetings and the Felix Meritis being able to hold an extra 500 people following renovation work, ADE has sold out several weeks in advance of the event for the last four years.
Similarly, each year the nighttime activities feature an ever-growing variety of electronic artists over four nights in 40+ venues which continue to attract a constantly growing number of tourists.
Last year, over 112,000 tourists from the UK, Germany, France, Belgium, Scandinavia and Spain descended on Amsterdam for the ADE weekend.

ADE’s conference program features a wide range of the most important and current topics addressing the really big issues within the overlapping worlds that make up the electronic music scene.

ADE offers a number of advertising and tailor-made promotional initiatives in order that you have the chance to present yourself, your acts or your company to the international electronic music scene.
The very best way to reach the 18-34 year-old demographic; the ADE magazine covers trend-setting fashion, lifestyle and, of course, music. ADE publishes a full-colour, English-language magazine with a print-run of 50,000 copies in co-operation with DJBroadcast.
The ADE directory is the most important source of contact and location information for the international electronic music industry. It includes all necessary practical information for participants attending the conference.

The 2010 ADE brought together a grand total of 197 different events over four nights which between them covered absolutely every style of electronic music from all over the globe.
While on the one hand it is important that ADE reflects the realities of the global scene, by showcasing the biggest and best-known acts and DJs in Amsterdam’s most spectacular venues, investing in the future and in future talent is of equal importance. Alongside the familiar names, you will always find a selection of the best and brightest new acts from Europe, Brasil, the USA and Asia playing in the city’s more intimate clubs.
